We would like to share with the world and all of the fans of the Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park, Illinois, the images, videos and artifacts from the final months of its existence in 2009. We appreciate that you took the time to visit our site. Thank you! The visionary that started it all in 1929 was Arthur Fritz. It began with pony rides and over the 80 years his family continued to grow the park to the enjoyment of adults and children of many generations. This is the story of the last ride for Kiddieland.
