Carp Baked with Onions karp pieczony z cebula |
Remove eyes and gills from 1 whole cleaned
carp. Mince 2 buds garlic and mash with 1/2 teaspoon salt. Rub fish
inside and out with garlic mixture. Thinly
slice 5-6 small onions, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and 1 teaspoon
sugar, and toss with 1 Tablespoon of olive oil. Fill fish with
onions and place in baking dish containing 2 Tablespoons of olive
oil. Brush fish with butter and bake in 400 degree Fahrenheit oven. When
skin begins to brown, sprinkle with a little water, reduce heat, and
continue baking until fish is done. Serve with fried potatoes and
carrot, apple & horseradish salad.
