My Grandmother was
a tough, traditional Old World Polish woman who
was committed to the care and well-being of all her
children.
This commitment made her a great cook over the
years. When she
died back in 1984, she left a big empty space in
all of our lives.
A few years later, my Mom
happened upon a shoebox tucked
away in the corner of my
Grandmother's closet. It was filled
with handwritten notes of all her greatest
recipes we all loved.
My Mom translated many of these treasured recipes
from Polish and did her best in
converting the required quantities and
ingredients. We wish to share them with
you here, so that you too can enjoy the
favorites we thought were lost forever.
So thanks for
stopping by...
you all help to honor her memory by
enjoying her culinary magic! |
